Capital Church Text Messaging Privacy Policy
This policy describes how Capital Christian Center, Inc. ("Capital Church", "we") handles information collected through its text messaging program, including every series you can subscribe to by text. It applies to that program only.
What we collect
- Your mobile phone number.
- The date, time, and method of your consent to receive messages, and the text of the invitation you responded to.
- Whether messages were delivered, and whether you opened links we sent.
- Anything you send us in reply.
We do not ask for or need your name, address, or payment information to run this program.
Why we collect it
We use it to send you the messages you asked for, to honor your requests to stop, and to understand in aggregate whether the program is useful, and for nothing else.
Who we share it with
We share information with service providers who help us deliver the messages you have requested (our messaging platform and the mobile carriers) solely in order to deliver those messages. We do not share, sell, or rent your mobile number, your opt-in information, or your consent to any third party or affiliate for their own marketing or promotional purposes. This exclusion applies regardless of any other sharing described in this policy.
We may disclose information if required by law.
Message frequency and cost
Message frequency varies, up to 6 messages per day.
Message and data rates may apply.
Stopping messages, and getting help
Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe. You will receive one confirmation and then no further messages. Reply HELP for help, or contact us at info@capitalchurch.co or (208) 888-1060.
You can also ask us to stop by email or phone, and we will honor that the same way. If you unsubscribe, we keep your number on a do-not-message list so that we don't message you again.
How long we keep it
We keep your information as long as necessary to run this program, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. That includes keeping your consent record while you are subscribed, and for a period afterward, so that we can show that you asked to receive messages.
We keep unsubscribe records indefinitely, because that is what stops you from being messaged again.
Children
This program is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly enroll them.
Changes
If we change this policy we will post the revised version here with a new effective date. A change that materially alters what you agreed to will be sent to you as a message first.
