Capital Church Text Messaging Terms & Conditions
These terms govern the text messaging program operated by Capital Christian Center, Inc. ("Capital Church", "we"). They apply to that program only and to nothing else about your relationship with the church, and by subscribing you agree to them.
The program
We send short encouragements by text message to people who have asked to receive them. The messages are organized into series you subscribe to one at a time, each with its own keyword, and all of them are listed on our home page. Messages come from (208) 856-4489.
How you subscribe
Text the keyword for the series you want to (208) 856-4489. We will reply asking you to confirm. Reply YES and you are subscribed. If you do not reply YES, that series does not start and we do not message you again.
We do not enroll anyone any other way, so nobody can subscribe you and there is no form on this site that signs you up.
By subscribing you consent to receive recurring automated text messages at the number you used. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services.
Who can subscribe
You must be 13 or older. If you are under 18, subscribe only with the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
You must also be the person who normally uses the phone number you subscribe with, or have that person's permission. If you subscribe a number that is not yours, please stop the messages using the instructions below.
Message frequency
Message frequency varies, up to 6 messages per day. You may also receive confirmations in reply to your own messages, such as when you subscribe or unsubscribe.
Cost
We do not charge anything for this program.
Message and data rates may apply.
Whether messages cost you anything depends on your plan with your mobile carrier, so ask your carrier if you are unsure.
Stopping messages
Reply STOP to any message. You will receive one confirmation and then no further messages. You can also ask us to stop by email or phone and we will honor it the same way.
Replying STOP stops every series, not just the one you most recently joined. If you later want to rejoin, text that series' keyword to (208) 856-4489 again and confirm as you did the first time.

Delivery
Messages are supported on major U.S. wireless carriers, including AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, and U.S. Cellular. Carrier support may vary.
Message delivery depends on carrier networks and is outside our control, so messages may be delayed or may not arrive at all, and neither we nor the wireless carriers are liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Changing your number
If you give up a phone number that is subscribed, please unsubscribe first. Otherwise messages meant for you will go to whoever receives that number next.
Your privacy
What we collect and what we do with it is described in our privacy policy. In short: we do not share, sell, or rent your mobile number or your consent to anyone for their own marketing.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms we will post the revised version here with a new effective date. A change that materially alters what you agreed to will be sent to you as a message first.
